Hello Home Property was founded by husband and wife team Peter and Monique Love.
Peter, a wine loving, socially awkward former lawyer turned National General Manager of one of Australia’s largest home building brands. Monique, an entrepreneur at heart with a bold creative spirit and a genuine love for people.
After 6 years in the building industry, Peter saw the increasing challenges to saving a full deposit with higher and higher rents and costs of living. Despite being on good incomes, many of their family and friends were struggling to save and were paying thousands paying off someone else's mortgage while renting.
Combine that with the difficulties involved in buying a new home, they saw a genuine need for a service that firstly could help buyers in:

During his time working for a major builder, Peter became aware of an emerging way to assist people with their deposit funds, through the wholesale side of the new home market.
In this wholesale market, builders and developers pay a marketing fee to companies for bringing them a project. This fee is what that they would otherwise spend in salespeople salaries and commissions, advertising, customer communications etc. Hello Home is then able to split this commission with the buyer, taking enough to cover our costs and run a sustainable business, and giving the remainder, at least $10,000 or more, to assist getting them into their first home for a low deposit. It is genuinely a win, win.

Having bought his own first property at age 22, Tim has spent the last 5 years in the new home building and property industries. He has also completed a degree in Property Economics at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
