From the very start when we met Tim & Peter at their info night we knew that this company was the right fit for us. From recommending land that would suit our needs, to helping us through the various contracts, to putting us in touch … More with the right finance people, the list goes on as to how this company really turns dreams into reality.
Our journey wasn't perfect, we had our share of delays and mishaps but we were in great hands the whole time with Sarah and Tim always keeping us informed on what the next steps were. They took the stress on for us & all we had to do was have a little patience.
HOWEVER the reason for the three star review is that as part of their pitch/information night (back when we signed up with them) is that they share their commission with you (which is I guess their incentive for going through them instead of directly through the builder). Some time between the beginning of our journey & the handover this changed... they stopped sharing the commission. We weren't notified of this at all & this was disappointing for Tom & I especially as Tim has shown us the amount that they would share with us during working out our finances. I had to ask the question at the end of the build about the commission promised & the director of the company simply said that there wasn't large enough margins to honour that promise. For this reason alone we have stopped recommending Hello Home Property to our friends. -
